These special cards were designed by members of The Little Garden Club of Columbus as a way to help children and adults learn about native plants. The photographs were taken by Ohio professional wildlife photographer, Jim McCormac. The “Go Native Ohio, A Wildflower Card Game” cards measure about 3 by 5 inches, with 13 different flower images and 4 of each flower (52 cards).
Each card has a picture of an Ohio native wildflower, the common name, and the botanical name. Note: These cards do NOT have traditional suit markings. They are intended for games of “Fish” or other concentration games with children… and adults can play with them to brush up on common and botanical nomenclature.
